Fetal Pig Assessment

After finishing your drawings please complete this assessment. You have now moved on to slightly more difficult tasks, but we believe in you. You can do it, but you will need the class manuals to find these structures.

Locate these anatomical structures. When you are confident that you have done this correctly, call over your instructor and have them approve the identification. Make a quick sketch of each, then make logical biological connections between them. Please type your answers and attach them to your final drawings when they are due.

Select TWO pairs of structures from the following five pairs listed below.

Structures

• Biceps femoris (lateralis) & Cerebellum
• Eyeball & Cerebrum
• Adrenal gland & Carotid artery
• Thymus gland & Lymph node
• Any muscle and an innvervated nerve (check with your teacher for approval)
